Very nice community. Clean, quiet and loaded with amenities. Our house was right on a small lake. We loved it there and had a great time.

Big negative from me is that a lot of places around here you’ll need a car to get to. No sidewalks; cars go way too fast on roads with little shoulders.
We were lucky enough to be housed near one of the launches and within walking distance to the main lodge, beach, and pool.
I think I may not be a Poconos—or mountain?— person, but we managed to find enjoyable things to do. Kayaking. Walking. Swimming. The scenery is beautiful, too.
Don’t quite understand gated communities in the Poconos, but it did have a good deal of amenities. I might have to think of it in terms of maintenance and amenities rather than “safety.”
Drawback was it was close to the end of the season so the hours listed were no longer true.
I just got to say I've been living here since 2008 I never seen The Hideout security reject my pass security guard at Northgate was very rude denied me access to my own home Hideout threatened me and yelled at me and treated me like a bully to call 911 on me for no reason shame on you The Hideout you are ridiculous
Great place to learn how to ski. Very easy slope for beginners. Also a fun taller slope for people who know how to ski. Might be boring for pros but I had a great time and so did my daughters. They have a hill for tubing too. The staff were all nice and helpful.
Beautiful community! Awesome 4 seasonal living with great amenities for families who live here. Excellent food and drink with spacious views from the clubhouse, tiki bar and surrounding lakes. We love it here in our new home.
I really hate having to always stop and get a pass and then drive all over the 50+ mile private housing that has people out reinforcing the 20 mile per hour speed limit. The amenities are cool if you’re moving into the country from the city…but it’s aggravating and not convenient to always have to get passes.
